The next day the group returned to the adventurer’s guild to get their stamps and payment for completing the quests. Once there, they took a new job with the Mage School to bring to justice a renegade mage that was causing them considerable trouble. The mages had last scryed him in a cave outside the eastern town of Trianglee. The group then found a stagecoach leaving out of Jed’s Courier Service heading that way. They offered to act as guarded escorts in exchange for passage.
The first couple of days were uneventful until the coach was beset upon by a band of marauders. They attacked from horseback but were eventually overcome by the croup. Shortly after, the coach arrived at the cave and most of the group disembarked with the exception of Jake and Glimnoddle who agreed to escort the coach the remaining way to Trianglee.
