As you leave, you are approached by Ba’arn’abi and Kitner who inform you that it is time to do the surveillance job at the old mansion outside of town. When you get there, you spread out among the grounds and survey the premises for twelve hours, noting the comings and goings of all that enter. After a sufficient amount of time, you are told to go back to Axegard and report your findings.

Once back at the Jaded Skull, Glimnoddle let’s you in on a little secret. While skirting the mansion’s grounds he stumbled across a platinum and diamond bracelet worth thousands of gold pieces.

The next day he takes his find to Finn, who pays you handsomely for the trinket. Each man’s split is over two-hundred gold pieces, more that enough to procure proper training. At that point the nine swear to keep in touch and vow to meet up again someday after your training. You each go your separate ways, writing at first, but then less and less as the months pass by, until finally you fall out of contact all together.

That is, until the day….
