Vlaad opened the locked entrance and you descended into a black cavern. The cavern lead ever downward, ending at a door. Once through the door you were attacked by four hairy man-beasts. They pressed you hard but after several minutes of vigorous battle, you eventually dispatching them.
From there you made your way through winding corridors until you came upon a library. The room was strewn with desks and the entire far wall was covered in ancient tomes. The pull of these tomes was too great for Lanolin, Jake and Soulan. As they approached their greed for knowledge was met with fierce resistance, as the very books themselves rose up against them. Taking the shape of an enormous golem, it thrashed them to the far corners of the room. Springing into action, the rest of the group beat it back as the group made their way through a side door.
You next made your way into an opulent room with eleven rogues who welcomed you. Outnumbered, you partook of their hospitality until Bryce found an opportunity to make a stand. He launched a single shuriken across the breadth of the chamber, planting it deep in the forehead of the rogue leader, felling him instantly. The rest of you snapped into action, quickly dispatching the remaining forces.
